Cohorts: Levels

"Levels" is a very powerful Trajecsys Report System feature; we think more programs should use it!

The easiest way to think of "Levels" is as a custom sort; that is a way to organize student reports so that only the ones you want to see are displayed. You can also use levels to help you in scheduling student and site evaluations on the Eval Schedule Dates page under the Eval/Form Setup menu. 

You can view a video tutorial that will take you through the steps and also discuss the advantages of using "Levels."

First, go to Users-->Cohort from the Admin Panel, and select "Define Levels".



Next, enter the various group names that you'd like to use. Click Save, then return to the Cohort: Assign Levels page. Select a group from the top dropdown, such as "Junior", then click on all the students that you want to be part of this group. Click "Apply" and repeat for each group until all students have been selected.

Now, if you go to Reports pages, you will see at the top the designated groups. You must deselect "ALL" before selecting another group or nothing will happen! Be sure to hit the Apply button after selecting or changing Levels.

You can also go to Eval/Form Setup-->Eval Schedule Dates and use your groups to set different evaluation dates.
