Logging in as a Student

Perhaps you would like to see what a typical student will see within your program, or perhaps you would like to test the settings available to the student, such as filing time records or procedures.  The easiest way to do this is to create a "test student". The test student is created already by Trajecsys employees when setting up your system, but if you don't see one, you can go to Admin Panel-->Roles-->Add User. Enter the required information. Your new student's last name should be Test.  Be sure the student is assigned to the Test Area.

This will permit us to identify and sort real student records and identities correctly for statistical purposes. While creating test records, either as a student or as a clinical instructor or even yourself, you should always use a test clinical site rather than a real one. Visit the Manage Sites page under Areas/Sites to add a new Test Site; be sure it is in the Test Area.

Perhaps you have a test student but don't remember the password? Click the Edit icon on Roles--->Manage Users page and then "Change" beside the Password row. You'll be asked for a permanent password for this student upon your first login as this student.
