Why is getting TRS emails important?
Students will receive automatically generated emails if a supervisor modifies or disapproves certain records and automated reminders if records are not filed in a timely manner. Clinical supervisors may get messages if student performance evaluations are overdue or if time records have not been approved. Designated faculty (usually the clinical coordinator) will also receive automated emails regarding student reports and time records. In addition, system administrators and faculty members can generate email messages within TRS to selected groups of persons, including students, clinical supervisors and faculty. Therefore, it is important that all persons using the system can successfully receive communications from trajecsys.com.
For one set of users, there's another important reason. If you have access to 2 or more programs that are using Trajecsys, confirming your email address - the same one that was registered in both programs - will enable a "switching bar" feature at the top of the home page when logged in, allowing seamless switching between registered programs using only one username and password.
Click here to confirm your email address.
You can also go to the "Reset Email" menu item on the login page.
How do I know that I am getting all communications?
You don't. Increased security measures by internet email hosts may prevent an email from reaching your inbox. In this case, there's no way for you to determine that it was ever sent. However, there are ways to test whether you can receive communications from www.trajecsys.com. Also, as part of your registration process your ability to receive emails from Trajecsys is tested. Click the link above to re-test.
Which email address should I use?
As part of the registration process, you are asked to provide a preferred email address. It's up to you which address you provide TRS if you have more than one, but you are required to have at least one. If you don't have an email address, you can acquire one at Yahoo, Google or MSN. Probably the most reliable email address will be the one which was assigned by your educational institution where you are a student. We encourage you to use this address because if there are problems receiving our communications, we can probably work with that institution's technology department to correct the problem.
How is my ability to receive emails tested?
When you register, TRS sends an email to the address you provided, and the confirmation email asks you to click a link. Until you have reached that page and clicked the button there, your registration process is not complete and your email address will not be confirmed to the administrator of your program. We encourage administrators not to grant you access to the system until your address is confirmed.
I really want to use THIS email address. Is there anything I can do to maximize the chance that I will receive the test email?
If you suspect that your email host will block the email before reaching even your spam box (and it may), you might try putting the following address in your online contacts list, or you can just send an email (which we won't answer) to the address that automated emails originate from: noreply@trajecsys.com
What if I skipped the step above and didn't get the test email?
If you don't get the email within 24 hours, check your spam or junk mailbox and see if it was put there. If so, make sure you mark the email as not spam and return it to your inbox.
I did everything you suggested (including sending an email to noreply@trajecsys.com), and I still didn't get the test email.
Then you're out of luck. You will need to use or establish another email address. Again, we suggest you use the account established for you at your educational institution. You can reset your email address by re-visiting the registration page (available as a menu item on the front page of www.trajecsys.com) and clicking the menu item "Reset Email."
I successfully registered but now I suspect that I may not be receiving TRS emails.
Retest by clicking the "Reset Email" link from the menu on the login page or click the link at the top of this page.
