If you need to reset a user's information, including a new password, you may do so here. Clinical coordinators must also use this form to reset Status to clinical coordinator, faculty member, clinical supervisor, or site employee. Student status is reset from the previous screen. Note that graduated students should be set to Alumnus status; students who are no longer in the program but did not graduate should be set to Inactive status (this will delete user; we call it inactive), as should other faculty or site employees who leave.
Note that you can't view the records of program directors or administrators; only persons so designated may view those records. Directors may be created only by system administrators.
You may also provide users with their correct username by accessing this screen. Although you cannot know the password of a user in the program, you can reset the password to one of your choosing by clicking "Change" beside the password. An email will be automatically generated to the user advising them of the new password. Upon their first login using the new password, they will be prompted to provide a different, permanent word. Students sometimes complain that they did not receive the password when it is resent; if you wish, you may reset the primary email address from this screen, which will allow the password to be sent to a different address. Please note that ALL Trajecsys automated emails will then be sent to the new address also!
At times, such as after a marriage, a user may request a change in name. You may do so, but they (and you) should be aware that all records generated for this person in the past will ALSO have the new name. Note that although you can change the real name, you can't change the username, which will remain unique to that person.
