Background Checks

Trajecsys recognizes the importance of maintaining accurate and timely information about students, and the benefits of using a digital recordkeeping system to assist in this process. Instead of keeping them directly, where we cannot guarantee their accuracy, we have begun to partner with providers of background checks. If we have linked up your program with a Background Check vendor, this report will appear listing all your students with verified emails, and the most up-to-date status in their VerifyStudents background check. It will include the name of the student, and that student's current status, with a last-updated date. If you have any question about this integration, please reach out to support@trajecsys.com to discuss whether we currently support your vendor.

The currently supported status codes are:

Not Initiated
- The user is not currently registered/processed with your vendor. This may be because they're not in the system yet, data needed to begin has not yet been provided by the student or educational institution, or various other reasons.
In Progress
- The background check is currently in progress. The vendor has reported they are currently working toward a determination.
Complete
- All documentation required for the background check has been submitted and identified as satistfactory by the vendor. For more information as to what has made it "Complete", we encourage you to reach out to your vendor or their website.
Requires Review
- Your vendor has either discovered something that stalls the background check, or information is incorrect or missing. You should reach out to them or navigate to their site to receive more information about this student's status.
Cancelled
- For some reason, the background check process has become permanently halted. You should reach out to them or navigate to their site to receive more information about this student's status.
