To use this report, students must first be allowed to report hours for procedures on the daily logsheet. To turn this feature on, go to the Settings page. To generate a report of total hours spent per student on individual procedures, or on major study areas, visit Reports-->Logs: Overview page-->Summary Report button. A need to document hours for certain procedures was identified recently as a need for all nuclear medicine programs whose students might seek certification for PET, CT or SPECT, where the accrediting body (NMTCB) requires a minimum number of hours for such procedures.
You can then toggle between "Full" view, which includes a summary of hours for individual procedures, or shorter view including only the Major Study Area summaries.
Note: If individual procedure hourly totals are not important, but the total of those to be reported are, you may wish to create a major study area only for the procedures whose hours should be reported, then include only those procedures within it. Use the "Short" summary button at left to generate only major study totals for selected students.
