A "Site" may be defined as a clinical location within a specific area. Click the "Add New" button (not shown) at the bottom of the page to begin. Area and site names should be kept as short as possible to maximize available space for data on reports. Use abbreviations for sites when you can, such as "MC" for "Medical Center."
Clock system - You may designate the "Clock System" at this time. A "Single" clock system allows students to report times twice a day - once for clock in and once for clock out at a site. The "Multiple" system allows students to report a time whenever they come and go during the day. Some programs use this feature by advising students only to use it for certain occasions, or to exclude lunch times by clocking in and out. We strongly recommend using the Single clock system exclusively in all sites. However, Multiple should be used for any sites in which students are expected to work from one day to the next (over midnight), or if knowing the exact times students are at clinic are required. If you are using the single clock system now, be sure all records for any site switched to the multiple clockin system have been approved and cleared out before switching. This includes records for students who clocked in for the current day and haven't left yet, or for unmatched records from previous days.
You may also choose to turn off certain notifications from this page. Supervisors receive automated requests to approve time records if this is not done every 3 days; they can also receive other notifications related to uncompleted evaluations. Either or both of these notification types can be turned off selectively for any site on this page. Please note that if notifications are enabled, all supervisors at the site will receive the notification. This is why, when possible, we suggest that only one supervisor per site be designated.
