Quick Start Info

In this section, we'll tell you what you'll need to know to get you started using the Trajecsys Report System. You can begin to use the TRS all at once, or you can gradually implement different forms or reports. Some programs never use anything but a single portion of our system, such as student clock in/out!

If you haven't done so already, complete the Trajecsys contact, payment and setup information form, which will help you decide how to configure your program area.

Register and notify us that you have done so. We'll then set your status to a clinical coordinator or program director. Thereafter, you will have full control over who has access to your program's area in the TRS.

Have your students, faculty and clinical instructors register in the same way and at the same place as you did. 
You can then grant them access to the system by resetting each person from "Registrant" to the role you want them to have in the system (students and instructors are reset on separate pages, and it is a 2nd step process to assign clinical supervisors to specific sites).

Provide us with:

• A list of your clinical sites.
• Your site evaluation form (if you want to use one).
• Your program's student performance evaluation.
• A list of all procedures, broken down by "major area" - for instance, a "major area" might be "Lower Extremity" with procedures Ankle, Femur, Foot, etc.
• Your competency exam(s). We will need to know which exam goes with which procedure, if you provide us with more than one.
  Provide us with a list of your clinical site locations, or you can add them yourself.
  Train students in use of the timeclock and logsheet by making sure they have read and understand how they will report things.
  Train your faculty and supervisors in their roles within the system. We've found that it is often a good idea to visit the clinical sites personally to introduce clinical supervisors to our system and answer any questions.

We would also suggest that you read the other help files, especially Student Help and Clinical Instructor Help to understand how these groups will interact with your new system.  We also suggest that you watch about 90 minutes' worth of videos that will take you through the role of the student in our system, the role of the clinical supervisor, commonly used reports, and many aspects of managing the Trajecsys Report System from the Admin Panel.
