Viewing and Reactivating Alumni

Once a student graduates in the Trajecsys system, their record is of limited visibility. The "Alumni" page, if enabled for a program by a Trajecsys staff member, can be used by Coordinators to access all alumni in the system, as well as to make a few changes to their records. Below are the various actions you can take on this page to view, edit, or reactivate an alumnus.

Finding Alumni: The smart search-box will allow you to find alumni in various ways. You can search by name, email, or graduation date. You can search for "2016" to view all alumni who graduated in 2016 (there's a slim chance you'll find someone with 2016 in their email address). You can further search for students who graduated 05/15/2016 and will get only students who graduated on that date.

Changing Alumni Email Address: Each user has an edit button to the right of his/her record. If you click that edit button, the option is provided to give a new post-graduation email address. This does not overwrite that user's previous address but allows you to maintain contact with the user through the Trajecsys system after his/her college email has expired.

Reactivating Alumni: Should you inadvertently mark an active student as alumnus or change your mind on that decision while the student still has an active payment arrangement in the system, you can reverse that decision on this page. Select the student(s) you want to reactivate by the checkboxes to the left of their names. A "Convert to Students" button will appear at the bottom of the page to reactivate them. Please note, you cannot use this feature for students that no longer have active payment arrangements. For these students, you will have to contact our Client Services team.
