Student-Input Competency Evaluations

It is possible to let students complete comp exams (also known as proficiencies or checkoffs) on themselves. If a program wishes to enable this feature, decisions should be made on whether faculty or clinical instructors will approve those student-input comps. To enable student self-comp, go in the Admin Panel to Text-->Page/Titles/Text. You will need to change the access on these two pages:

complistexam.aspx
complistexam2.aspx

To do so, click the pencil/paper edit icon to the right of each page and change the access setting to Student - Supervisor, then click Save. Be sure to do this for both pages. Also, disable the comp evals page for students (stcomplistexam.aspx) on the Text-->Page/Titles/Text page to avoid confusion. (This page typically allows students to view the items on comp exams, but not to fill out the exam.)

To change settings to enable faculty or instructor approval of the student-input comps, go to the Settings page in Admin Panel. Place a check next to "Require supervisor or faculty review of site employees/student submissions before including into averages." Then click Save.

When faculty or clinical instructors log into Trajecsys, they will see that there are comp exams awaiting their review; see image below.
